Caroline cole

Caroline Cole is a policy advocate, co-host of Trapped in Treatment, a docu-style podcast from 11:11 Media and Warner Brothers, Co-Founder of the non-profit, Unsilenced, and Special Advisor to the International Coalition Against Restraint and Seclusion.

After 2 ½ years in a lockdown behavior modification facility in her teens, Caroline spent the next years of her life searching meaning. Having experienced poverty, addiction, and domestic abuse, helping others became the central goal of Caroline’s life.

After participating in Rise Justice Labs’ legislative accelerator program, Caroline, alongside Paris Hilton and other lived experience advocates, penned institutional abuse survivor’s rights into the federal bill, “The Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act” and successfully passed SB127 in Utah.

She believes that through trauma-informed policy and community-focused healing we can provide young people the opportunity for equity, growth, and joy.
